Short description of the project:
The purpose of the InspectoCOM project is to increase the international competitiveness of Inspecto Ltd. by adapting and applying innovations of business processes, services and organization with an estimated project duration of 38 months beginning on 10.07.2018.

Total Eligible Cost: HRK 5,491,455.87
Grant approved: $ 2,795,477.93
Project implementation period: from 10.7.2018. to 09/10/2021.

Project goals (project results):

  1. Innovative laboratory methods in the biotechnology segment
    An accredited pathogen identification and meat identification service by PCR methods does not exist in the Republic of Croatia nor in neighboring countries, and technological innovation will enable faster delivery of results, which will have a positive impact on human health and food safety.

  2. Innovative laboratory methods in the mycotoxin segment
    A multi-component service will be introduced to the market that will provide customers with a faster, more technologically accurate analytical testing method, which is a whole new service on the market, since it does not have the same service that offers the same functionality. Innovative solutions have superior technological characteristics over competing services in the Republic of Croatia and in certain EU countries.

  3. Customized and applied business organization innovation
    The company will apply a business organization innovation in its newly built and newly renovated laboratory in Osijek, which will also contribute to enhancing the company's competitiveness.

  4. Increased company competitiveness and export potential in the local, regional and EU markets
    As a result of the commercialization of innovations, significant positive effects are expected at the company level and an increase in international footprint, which will be achieved by 11% growth in sales revenue, 21% growth in export revenues and an increase in the number of employees from 61 to 67 in 2016-2023.
